Key Requirements for Node Operators

Running a node is a complex task. For this reason, potential node operators need to fulfill the following key requirements:

Capital

Hardware

Skillset

Let’s have a look at each of these requirements in more detail.

Key requirement #1

Capital Requirements

Node operators need to be able to raise the capital required to run and operate a node machine. The costs of operating a node include data center fees but also labor costs.

Required funds

$5k-30k

Cost Types

Infrastructure costs
OpEx (operational expenditures)
CapEx (capital expenditures)
Manpower costs
